Parks of San Joaquin County consists of 9 major parks and 11 community and regional parks for Organized sports. Major Parks of San Joaquin County include Micke Grove Regional Park, Oak Grove Regional Park, Dos Reis Regional Park, Westgate Landing Regional Park, Mossdale Crossing Regional Park, Stillman Magee Regional Park, and Woodbridge Regional Park. The division of Facilities Management Department maintains all parks in the county.

A brief description of few major parks of the county:

Micke Grove Regional Park:
This 258-acre oak tree park features Micke Grove Zoo, the Japanese Garden, Tea Pavilion and Koi pond, rental facilities with outdoor picnic shelters and indoor facilities for receptions, family reunions and corporate events, Funderwoods Amusement Park, the San Joaquin Historical Museum and softball fields and a children’s play area.

Oak Grove Regional Park:
This 180-acre park situated oak-forest includes Oak Grove Lake, Oaks Nature Center, rental facilities offering the indoor Boat House plus outdoor picnic shelters, an 18-hole disc golf course, children’s playground and a youth campground available for youth group camping.

Mossdale Crossing Regional Park:
A large, two-lane boat ramp with floating dock is the striking feature of this park, located between Tracy and Manteca off I-5. Mossdale's ramp offers access to the San Joaquin, Middle and Old Rivers. Shaded picnic areas and a children’s playground complete the facility.

Woodbridge Regional Park:
Providing 1/4 mile of Mokelumne River frontage, this park is accessible from River Meadows Drive in Woodbridge. This natural area features a riparian environment where fishing enthusiasts catch Trout, Black Bass and Catfish.
